We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Loan Advisor to help small business owners identify and secure financing solutions that support their growth objectives. The Business Loan Advisor serves as a trusted consultant, guiding clients through the funding process and recommending lending products that align with their business needs. This role requires strong sales, relationship-building, and financial analysis skills. The position is inspired by companies such as LendAbiz Capital, which provides business term loans, lines of credit, bridge loans, and other financing solutions to small businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Consult with prospective business owners to understand their financing needs and business goals.
- Educate clients on available funding solutions, including term loans, business lines of credit, and revenue-based financing options.
- Review financial information, business performance metrics, and application details to determine potential funding opportunities.
- Guide applicants through the loan qualification and application process.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Follow up with leads generated through marketing campaigns, referrals, and inbound inquiries.
- Coordinate with underwriting and operations teams to facilitate timely funding decisions.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and application status within CRM systems.
- Achieve monthly funding, sales, and customer service goals.
- Stay informed about lending products, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in business lending, financial services, banking, sales, or account management.
- Experience working with small business owners and commercial clients is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of commercial lending principles and financial statements.
- Excellent interpersonal and consultative sales skills.
- Ability to manage multiple client relationships simultaneously.
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
